Sony is offering four monthly games to PlayStation Plus subscribers in September: Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes. They can be added to the library from September 1 through October 5, 2026.

Four very different experiences

Sniper Elite: Resistance emphasizes stealth, ballistics and route planning. Its story runs parallel to Sniper Elite 5 and fits players who prefer observation over constant action.

MLB The Show 26 targets baseball fans with career and collection modes. Some content and events depend on online services, so its long-term value differs from a fully offline game.

Wobbly Life is the most accessible multiplayer option. Its open world, jobs and deliberately loose physics favor spontaneous situations over competition.

Chained Echoes offers a narrative single-player adventure inspired by 16-bit RPGs, with turn-based battles, exploration and mechs.

Claiming is not downloading

Subscribers only need to add games during the offer window. Downloads can wait. Access remains available while an eligible subscription stays active; claiming a title is not the same as buying it permanently.

Check free space before installing several games. Deleting a downloaded title does not remove it from the library, and it can be downloaded again with an active subscription.

The August deadline

Subscribers have until August 31 to claim the previous monthly lineup announced by Sony. A recurring calendar reminder prevents losing a title simply because it was not needed during the offer.

Is the lineup worth subscribing for?

Value depends on which games a player would otherwise buy and how long they keep the subscription. One desired title can justify a month, but an accumulated library also encourages continued payment to preserve access.

September covers tactics, sport, cooperation and RPGs. Claim all four when they appear, then download only the games you intend to play to preserve console storage.
